Holy cow - check him out. This is the lowest AMBG that we've seen during this trial. I can't believe tomorrow is the big day.

WCR: Well we had an eventful evening last night. Max was laying in bed with me watching tv and staring at the bathroom quite intently. He went out of the bedroom to see DH and came right back in. He was sitting at the side of the bed contemplating whether to jump up or not. All of a sudden, he was gone into the bathroom like a flash. I yelled for DH (only because I knew what Max was after and I wasn't about to go into the bathroom). DH came into the room and moved the litter box out of the way - Max pounced. He picked his head up and there was a mouse in his mouth. Now I'm not keen on the fact that there was a mouse in my house but was so happy for my boy that he caught it. He was ALWAYS my mouser. If there was a mouse, Max always caught it. He hasn't shown any interest in catching any mice since he's been sick (yes there have been a few of them in the house during the time he was ill - unfortunately). He was so proud of his catch. He pranced around the house just showing off. What a chore it was to get it away from him.

So far this morning he has been fantastic. Running through the house and acting completely crazy - attacking the big supersized tennis ball and throwing his stuffed mousie around. He is now resting comfortably on the register vent getting nice and toasty warm since it is blowing right now.

woo hoo, max! great job there, guy. :)
my DH would be inclined to let him eat it but i would have taken it away from him, too. but it's great he still has skills.
NICE AMPUS!!!! :)

Happy Day 13 to Max!
 That running around gave him good exercise for sure!~ he is probably all proud of his big old self now and
looking frantically for another lil mouse to show off his skills!!! Great story!!

One more day, what awsome numbers today Lynee. So excited!!!
I love your mouse story. We don't have any mouse killer instincts in this house of 3 cats.

About 2 summers ago we had a baby mouse get into the house. I knew something was up because I saw 3 cats sitting and looking at something. Oh it was so tiny.
3 cats, all staring. Yes when it would run or move they followed it but had no clue what to do.
I had to catch it myself. Yeesh. I guess I domesticated them too well.

See ya at the party tomorrow.

Max is doing great!! What wonderful numbers.

I don't understand. what's the big deal with Max playing with a mouse? You always knew he reads the Board.
Oh.... Not that kind of mouse!

Oh we are sooooo Happy for you & Max--A Miracle Indeed!! HUGS~!!!!
So excited! Gooooooooooooo MAX!!!! One more day!

Hahahaha! Sienne!

No this Max is a true hunter again! What a terrific story and what a road to recovery for Max.
This is very exciting to be on day 13 on the eve of a celebration for a kitty that was so incredibly sick last year. Just amazing. And now he's running around catching mice. Ah, what a happy happy day. :-D

Dr Lisa would be so proud of Max catching a mouse!

Happy Day around the corner for Max!! He's done so well and we're so happy for u all!!

Re: 2/3 Max PMBG 75 OTJ Trial Day 13

HE DID IT!!!!! I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face, barely able to type. I just cannot believe how far he has come in just shy of a year. I spent my day looking through all the millions of pictures that I have taken of him over the past year and thinking about the journey that we have had together. It has made the bond between me and my boy so incredibly strong. He has always been my special boy and now we have one more very special memory to share to add to that bond. But this memory has many many threads in it from all the love and support that we got from each and every one of you during this time. You have all shared in my tears and my joy and we are both forever grateful for you.

Max has said that he will be stopping by to see all his friends every day and hopes to see you all at the Falls.

For all the newbies out there - Max is a shining light that anything is possible. I have said right from the very beginning that I will never give up hope. Hold on to that hope every single day and know that you CAN do this. We brought our boy back from the brink of death and in less than a year he is celebrating a victory that he so truly deserves. So no matter how hard it may get and how tired you may be, just look into those eyes staring back and you will quickly forget everything else.

Oh and the WCR is F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S. Tux is cleaned, party favors are out, and niptinis are ready to be served.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Way to go you guys! I wanted to get my congrats in today in case I missed the party. I'm very, very, very happy for you both!
