One of the foods I've been (occasionally) feeding him is medium-carb and not low-carb (and I've been giving it to him the past few days). How'd I mix THAT up? Same brand, one fish, one chicken. The chicken is low carb. The fish is not. Ugh. Now I know.

It happens, u may want to label them with a marker, that should help keep tell them apart.LC, MC and LC
Nice +6 yellow!

Pretty yellow for Zarley today! Nice!
How are you doing today Tracy? Guess you will be busy labeling the foods now, eh?
I get so crazy with some of the similar colors....(in the Fancy Feast new labels) and I really
have to watch it. I put the HC ones with the gravy on the other side of the kitchen in another cabinet
so that I won't open it by mistake. (that's cause I need to be careful of my ditzy self....)
Always something to keep one busy in this sugar dance, right?

I mark my cans with a Sharpie too, but I only mark the MC and the HC.
Nice day for Zarley!

Hi Tracey
That looks like a nice day for Zarley. Glad everything got somewhat settled
down and today is a brighter day for you.
Looking forward to your posts about Zarley. Don't forget to tell us how he is feeling too.

Thanks everyone for their replies.

I calmed down today, Zarley is acting fine (almost annoyed that I'm fussing so much over him), but his PMPS have freaked me out a bit (I freak at high numbers, I freak at low numbers). Tested for ketones. He just got a Lantus dose of .75. From mid-afternoon on, all he's pretty much had is fresh chicken (I felt bad for him and wanted to give him a special treat) so it's not like the food was carb-y. Tomorrow is another day.

They are calling for ANOTHER huge storm on Friday (we've had more snow this year than the past 5 years combined). Accumulations of up to 20" are expected (we got that much right before Christmas, too). Tomorrow before work and at lunch I'll have to do some more major stocking up. I'm fine with food food me but I want "more than enough" for the cats. I'm terrified I'll run out of testing strips (even though I just bought a back up for a second monitor) so I guess I'll get more of those, too.
