Hi Everyone and good morning. Yes, Ronnie, Stu is still "wearing that pink suit"!! Nothing much to report. The numbers seem fairly consistent in the pinks and high yellows. Still drinking lots of water and peeing lots of urine. Good litter-box action, good appetite, good overall cat behavior. I couldn't get a ketone test yesterday, but will try today. Ears tattered. He's pretty good when we begin the BG test, but then he often lunges and the drop of blood gets too messed up for the meter to accept, so we have to start over again (I do keep hold of his ear). My husband tries to hold him still, but Stu is a powerful cat! (His powerful upper body is a result of his habit of pounding on doors! He has done this ever since he came to live with us, at age 4. For the first few years we were really sleep-deprived!!).
Thanks, everyone, for keeping an eye on Stu. Everyone have a good day,
Ella
