Coming back daily for a while, since I will be changing insulins soon. Karamelle still isnt eating that great. Ive been adjusting meds. She was initially diagnosed with Pancreatitis, although this last recent test showed a PSL in normal range. I still think she has it, but she has an ultrasound scheduled for next Monday.
Shes currently on Ondansetron 2x (sometimes 3), Buprenorphine 2x, Gabapentin pm, Mirataz 2x, Plus her prozac, milk thistle, Lung Gold and I just added liquid B12 (methylcobalamin)
She still wont eat until about an hour or more after her Mirataz dose, so shes doesnt eat with her am shot. So far it hasnt been an issue. Im still having to assist feed (I just use my finger and swipe the food on her tongue) at least once a day. Ive noted in the comments on her ss when Im assist feeding. She eats small amounts when she does eat, making it harder to get enough in her without me helping.
I dont know if the new insulin will have any effect on her eating, we'll see. So far since she dropped to 40 a coupole days ago, shes handled the reduction ok. Her BG is actually better since i announced she would be changing insulins. ;)

Hi Jo, I hope the new insulin will help her.

I'm sorry she has pancreatitis. Ivy just had it for the first time and it was just awful. I had no idea what to do.

I remember you are very experienced with this condition, so I am sure you know what to do to help her very well.
I hope she recovers quickly!!! Sending you both lots of healing vines and prayers.
