Good morning everyone
I don't think I have April Fool's jokes for you today. Just hanging in there today and preparing for the surgery.
Last night I just dropped dead asleep in front of the TV like an 80-year-old woman

DH took care of Fistuk last night, and I heard nothing. I think the painkillers make me very tired. I'm taking much less but I still need them. I've got a control visit to the gyno today but the scar is healing nicely. Just in time for Fistuk's operation.
Fistuk ate almost all breakfast by himself for DH. He peed and had all his vitamins and retired to his morning sleep. The sun is showing some pawsitive signs today so hopefully will get some for him later to recharge.
The vet said the gabapentin is safe for the kidneys and that it helps relax the cat so they need less sedatives, which is overall better for the cat.
Tomorrow, I'll need to wake up at 4am (+9 PM for us) to feed him and give him 1/2 the insulin dose and gapanten to prepare for the surgery. I need to bring him at 8am, and we're an hour's drive away and it's rush hour... so we'll need to leave early.
Fistuk looks good! He gained 200g which I'm happy about.
Wishing you all a peacful day
