    Good evening,

another day in pink and red after a night with lots of yellow. Maybe there is still some inflamation left in her body which keeps the bg up? Thank god it was not difficult to inject this morning and evening. So there might not be a general problem with itching insulin. But I feel like a beginner again, full of anxiety and doubt if I can manage. :banghead:

Last night the libre alarm woke me a lot. It was not because of low bg but because the reader lost contact with the sensor because Binie started to roam around the appartement. She becomes more active again, which is a good sign. :cat:

Tomorrow we will see the vet for another bloodwork and putting on a new libre. I just started to fill in the bloodworks of the last month/years in the spreadsheet. It is really interesting to see the trends but it takes me a while as the measurments in the US and Germany are very often different and I have to calculate a lot. What I find interesting is, that the ranges in the US and Germany seem to vary for some results. I find this surprising as there must be a common standard in western medicine what is normal and healthy and what is not. With all this data I have to remember what my vet always says: "We are treating cats, not lab results."

Hope everyone is having a safe and calm day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I have this happen a great deal, too Heike. And many times if Ivy is lying on the sensor it sends the list signal alert. Of course we both know how loud that alert is in the night and it happens many times a night.
Hard to get a good sleep, isn’t it?

I’m glad you were able to give insulin successfully today. Just try to breathe.
Good luck at the vet. I hope it goes very smoothly for you and Binie :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yes, It is very loud. :D But if it just the lost signal alarm and not the low bg alarm, I just take my blanket and move wherever Binie is and I am able to fall back asleep a minute later. Like that I change between bed and couch several times at night. The few times the alarm went because of low bg in the past, I was awake in a second for trouble shooting. :nailbiting: I hope we all have a safe and calm night tonight! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
