Vet today he pretty much is letting me do what I want no more AT2 meter talk
I found a bony growth (very small) on her bottom jaw and for now we are monitoring it. It is just as hard as the jaw...weird since I brush her under her neck and scratch under there too.
She is doing well she is not as active as she used to be and her jumps are not as high. Another few crazy days where I need a clone.
I'm going to do some searching on specialist over the weekend. Allie is a tough patient, I have to be in the room. Her ears are just ear wax no infections or bacteria. She got a pretty good going over. Took back the prescription food.
Time for her shot, have some catching up to do here.

*Edit to put in numbers ...... I need some sleep and some down time!

Just was going to give Allie her snack and took her reading the first was 156! I took it again and 224. I had to feed and she ate about 1/3 can of FF pate when should I take her reating again? 2 hours or 4 hours?
That would put her at +6 or +8. Oh and in the morning I start her new back of Glargine.

Can you get another test now? If she is still in the 200s, then the 156 was a bad strip (or not enough blood) and you can just call it a night.

I'll go again but she ate after the test she was due after +4 and her PM shot so I'm sure it will be high. She may prove me wrong. I also did a separate spot not the same blood. +5 225 after eating an hour ago.

Neko had a bony growth on her bottom jawbone too. It came up quite quickly and was large enough to interfere with her eating. I took her to a dental specialist who removed it. I hope Allie's doesn't grow.

Thanks! This is like on the bone, on the very bottom. I guess time will tell. I will check it everyday, she loves a good neck scratch...Just don't do the tail area. She never did like that. She felt great after the vet go figure. Right away she ate and then I put her on the bed and she had a great bath! She was happy afterwards.
Hmmm guess I need to look into a dental specialist too.
It was my turn to have dental work this year!
