Hi Everyone :)

Fistuk gave a stubborn flat blue for my first day of holiday. At least I don't need to worry about a lime party :banghead::p

Last night he was extra close to me and today DH said he was very sad and not his usual chirpy. We had a video call while he tested Fistuk at +3. Fistuk always sits himself like a Buddha waiting to be tested. As I started talking to him he got up and sat right by the phone, really almost on the phone.

There were times before when I left that he was quite depressed. This is the first time I'm travelling since he was diagnosed so I imagine he's numbers showing some stress.

He's eaten well so that's good. Let's see how he continues tonight and tomorrow.

Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday :bighug:

Hi Shelly,

it is good to read he is eating well and I hope he adjusts fast to the new situation. And so good you created a situation, where he is taken care of so well! Hope you enjoy your time abroad. All caretakers need some time off now and then! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Shelly,

Aww sweet Fistuk is missing his mama. Try not to stress about him too much and enjoy your holiday.
And even though he might be showing higher numbers, it's only temporary.
Looking forward to some of the photos from your trip :cat::bighug::cat::bighug:

Ooooh, sweet Fistuk. He misses his momma.:kiss: I bet he was happy to "see" you over the phone. He just needed some reassurance that you were thinking of you.
But enjoy your holiday. You totally deserve it! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
I thought I took a screenshot of him but I guess it didn't take bc I couldn't find it. It was just so sweet how he set right next to the phone moving his ear to listen and then moving his head to look for me. But it breaks my heart. Phew how can we get so attached to them :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

True, Heike, he once even didn't eat when I was gone. It helps that DH is there. And with our main sitter, he has good relationship so lets hope he'll settle in a couple of day.
I see that you're in Germany :) We're kindof neighbours :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Karolina :)
I know I shouldn't but I find it difficult. I'm unwinding slowly.
The first think was having a full night's sleep without getting up to feed at night or to an alarm for insulin.
I'll post some photos soon :bighug::bighug::bighug:
