Thursday's Condo Luci is at least out of that darn lemon tree this morning..thank goodness! She was happy and purring this morning...glad I was up early! She was downstairs yeowling and making a rukus...get up mama, get up! Other than another hold-up at work, my task today is to wash the pool cover and clear the leaf cover of the leaves before it rains this afternoon - oh joy...both are laid out on the back lawn waiting for me... Have a great day everyone, may your kitties surf safely. Prayers and hugs to our dear @Briere Fur Mom on the loss of her precious Moey.
Beach start is good. Ollie took over lemon duty this morning so Luci doesn't have to worry about them.
Nice start Luci! Kit cat is also team yowl loudly early in the morning - she does it because she's pretty sure she's being starved.
I mean, honestly it's her own fault she's hungry. I put out her food yesterday at all the normal times, and she wasn't interested in eating it all. She's trying to trick me into adding more freeze dried crumblies after she's only eaten a little, cuz she's sneaky. I tell her she can't survive on freeze dried treats alone, and she disagrees
Sue, it's been fun seeing Luci start her days on the beach more often lately Those big jobs keep you healthy, and then you get to feel all accomplished when lounging and looking at the big improvement YOU made!! Then pool time Oops, rain won't work for that. Give Luci some big love from us . . . Tina and I would love to hang with Luci & have a chat; she's always been a reminder of our Jessie the tuxedo bobtail . . . or manx; her tail matched Luci's Also very happy your little gal is having a grand ol' time back in her northern home
I'm glad to see that Olive has left those ole nasty lemons alone too! Luci has gone off to the lagoon for a bit of surfing!
Luci is far from being starved...who knows what that is all about...just them being 'boss of the house'...
??? When is that? I used to get a chuckle when people would come over to swim and hang out in the pool...and they'd say, 'don't you just love having a pool to relax in? or by in your lounge chair? Ha! What a joke...between the cleaning and the deck washing and the plant watering, etc. etc. etc. we rarely get to 'relax' and enjoy our pool...nowadays we're taking it more slowly...but there's still a good bit of work having your own pool. I've told DH that when we get a bigger house in Florida (when we retire) that the pool will come with maintenance! Otherwise I don't want it! Pool service is very inexpensive in Florida and everyone has one - here they're few and far between and much more expensive! Looking forward to that! That's so cute! I'll bet they'd love to sit and chat...or whatever...these cats would probably never get along as well as us hoomans Have a wonderful day Tina!
Do I ever know about the pool work!! After almost 20 years, we finally hired a pool guy who recently arrived from California (he's great). They are quite competitive around here - lots of pools; not horribly expensive. It was always me in the past, and I'd have sore shoulders for 3 days after brushing, every single time. We still work our tails off in the yard, then collapse on a float in the pool if we time it all right! Pools in Michigan don't sound too common! Be well Luci and Sue Retiring in Florida is sounding better to me all the time
