Well, keeping an eye on Disco did make me miss the family float trip on Thursday 7/16, but we did manage to squeeze in a little 20 minute float when we met up and the kids blew up the kayak and we got on our way! Today’s Daily Disco photos are from that fun float!

Disco was diagnosed with diabetes in Oct 2019 and am i correct in thinking he is a new diabetic or a long-term one? I didn’t check in with the board, but In the last 6 cycles, he has had a couple of 48’s and a few in the 50’s and I guided him with food.

But was once again, I was unclear if these numbers indicated a reducie needed. And because I didn’t get around to asking, I erred on the side of caution and skinnied down his dose this AM and PM to 3.37 from 3.5.

Any and all advice much appurrciated, including any slaps on the wrist for not asking the experts before I made these changes!

Hi Teri
Cats under 1 year of diagnosis take reductions if the BG drops under 50. So please take the 0.25 reduction, not a skinnier one.
