Rose was stressed out yesterday due to vet visit. Vet was thrilled I brought a stool sample to investigate report of black stool. What looked strange and unusual to me was normal and routine to the vet. Time for mom to take a chill pill and not panic over every little thing...

Vet visit was a huge relief - Rose has actually gained weight, has no more UTI, and no physical sign of constipation. Vet is happy with BG numbers, but I'll keep on the search for better numbers.

Wonderful news! I've noticed that my three will occasionally produce otherwise healthy looking poop that's darker in colour.

Thanks @Kris & Teasel ! Who knew I'd be making charts and graphs regarding location, volume, and consistency of poop! Not sure I want to add color to the chart, but seeing how impressed the vet was - I may have found my calling!
