Her AMPS was a little low but since she seemed to be okay yesterday (and I'm home today) I gave her the full 1u. I'm having some trouble with her being constipated though.. her poop is on the smaller side, shriveled and looking kind of hard. I still have lactulose from my vet so I plan to give her some today (she hates it but I'm more concerned about her pooping better at this point).

Does having a low carb diet mean she poops less? Right now it's almost an every other day situation. Should I get some miralax to help her out?

a lot of members use Miralax , get the generic it's cheaper and it's the same thing
Such as clearlax or any other brand
(polyethylene glycol 3350)
You can start off with an 1/8 of a teaspoon every day mixed in with the wet food and add water
to it, it's tasteless. See how that dose works for a couple of days, you might have to increase it to twice a day.

Or start off with 1/4 of a teaspoon
