Hope all you Sugar Cats had a safe & sane July 4th! The Sky Sparkles don't see to bother my cats, in fact they wanted to be out in their Catio but I brought them in when it got dark!
I did a short river float with some of my family today and was prepared to take Disco out for a short float with no riffles after we got back to my mom's place (right on the river) but was too bushed to do it and I wanted to be alert for his first time on the river. I may try it on Sunday, though.
Had a nice BBQ at my mom's and of course, brought Disco along and he napped away the afternoon in his tent (indoors). I tested him right before we left to float the river and his BG was 116, but just to be safe, I fed him some LC and HC mixed and his numbers were good upon our return.
Here's a pix of Disco in his tent, which folds up like one of those window shades you put in your windshield to block out the sun.
