https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB...-what-dose-to-shoot-when.233432/#post-2608931 Good morning! This is probably the first post of Tuesday 8/11. Naomi's PMPS 197. How much insulin should I give?
Get a +1 and +2. Feed her small amounts each hour . With pancreatitis if they eat too much at one time they don’t feel well.
Yes, it was absorbed last night. About 8-10 hours after he had received them. It was not exactly a pocket. Her front legs were swollen, also her underbelly and her side on the right
Yes, she had 4 spoons (1 pouch kd, 2tspns Sheba, 60ml water all mixed in the blender). It's like a cream. I also added 1 Alu cap capsule. Her phosphorus is around 8 according to tests run yesterday
Looking good. Did you fill the RX for zofran? Are you giving it to her? Hopefully when the insulin kicks in at +2-3 she will be hungry. If not syringe or spoon feed. Get a +2 and +2.
My sister is going to buy it now. I put 1 Alu cap capsule in her food. Is that alright? Also received today Zobaline so I gave her 1 tab. I will have to wait until tomorrow to ask my vet if there is any interaction with all these. I'll force feed her if she doesn't show any interest in food. She has 1-2 bites, goes away, then eats a bit again...
You can check drug interactions on good RX. You want to add phosphorus binder to her food but some don’t like the taste. If that’s why she won’t eat I’d syringe it in some feed and follow with food without it right after to see if tgat gets her eating on her own. Have you visited Tanya’scrf.org? Everything about kidney disease and other issues are there.
I added some more Sheba in her bowl and she is eating with great appetite now. She loves Sheba pate! She didn't even notice the binder! Tanya's site is excellent! I've printed out many pages. It has helped me a lot
