The vet called Monday with his test results. He said his Amylase was elevated, but his white blood cell count was not. He said the elevated Amylase indicated pancreatitis, but he would expect the WBC to be elevated too. I’m not sure he did the spec fPL test. I really don’t know anymore than I did. I don’t think he knows much about pancreatitis. There is another vet in the next town that’s supposed to be good. I may try taking Scooter to him. I let Scooter try some of his Tiki sticks and Mousse. He really, really likes it! I’m saving the rest in case he has another spell. It seems to help to feed him something different. Thanks to @LizzieInTexas for providing and @Penelope and Mačka for the suggestion. I’m on the way to Fort Worth with DH for a follow up from his surgery in September. Hopefully he’ll get a good report. Prayers and vines for all kitties and beans in need!
