Finally checking in again! Ultrasound and bloodwork today, and things were really good. Bloodwork (CBC and chem panel) was all fine overall; WBC count was a little low but not enough to skip treatment. Even better, the ultrasound showed that the intestinal mass has shrunk somewhat. Still some generalized thickening of the intestine that could actually be IBD or something, but the main mass and the lymph nodes are regressing. So we're sticking with the current treatment for another couple of months. (If there had been progression we would have moved on to the next chemo option.) When he got his Lomustine dose today the sneak spat a pill out in his carrier, but luckily I noticed it before we left and they took him back to give it to him again.
Meanwhile, his Levemir dose has been really stable for about two months now. BG has the usual bounciness, but he's doing well overall. We just keep on keepin' on.
