I am feeding him 13% carb food at the moment. Will retest in 20 minutes, and will give 2 units of Lantus if he is coming up nicely. Our historical data shows that this has happened before when he is bouncing around. I will monitor closely today.

Update: After 20 minutes he was 100, and rec'd his insulin. Wonder if he will be in the BLACK numbers by tonight.

If home I’d get a test just to make sure the suspected bounce happens.

I will be testing at +3 and +6. Do you recommend another time?

No. That’s perfect, no pun intended.

    +3=108, fed 9% carb food.
    +6=134
Will test at +9, unless you suggest another time.

At PMPS Gideon =376, so we are in the high PINK. Quite an interesting day. Wonder what he will be at +3. Will be at work tonight, so husband will have the duty of testing. He knows if ever Gideon is low (which he won't be tonight at +3), he knows what to do. He also knows he would have to wake and retest. He is OK with that thankfully.
