Well, the dose is so fine on the calipers I am having trouble understanding how to place it against the syringe.

Oliver is sitting on my lap wondering what is taking me so long ha.
Anyway, @smorgasbord , I know you use BD syringes, can you, (or anyone) send me a picture showing how I would lay this dose against the syringe?? No hurry, he’s had his shot, I’m just practicing

@Hercule's mum you are using callipers with BD syringes for really tiny doses. Can you help Shelley?

Ok, wow. That’s darn near impossible!
I can’t even photograph, much less imagine how to measure it accurately.
Here is a photo, not that it’s going to help you at all.

Here’s our dose (2.25)
I try to have the top arm at the bottom of the cloudy section that is at the top of the syringe. The bottom arm is level with the top of the black plunger.
you’ve probably already figured out how to place it if you had a dose that is visible to the naked eye!! But just in case this helps:

Happy to not really be much of help Man it's ridiculous to try and photograph that amount, much less dose it. Glad Ollie is doing so well that this is such a hard thing to calculate. Hopefully Hercule's Mom will be able to assist soon.

Hi There! Sorry, I have just seen this.
You want to use your "inside" caliper arms as shown on the 8:35 post by smorgasboard.
Here is a picture of my 0.2 dose:

I usually have a set-up with a white background of any sort (i use a piece of paper), and a glass to hold my phone at a good distance. I can then set up the camera in my phone to the maximum zoom and evaluate the dose by looking through the phone camera...
