Just checking in briefly... things are still going fairly well. Bit of nausea last night, I think, so I'm keeping an eye on that and may give him something (Zofran or Cerenia) if it continues. Weight is down a bit. We're also still dealing with some chin acne that just won't clear up. We're putting chlorhexidine on it daily but he also keeps scratching at it. It's making it harder to give him his pred; I think it hurts when I try to open his mouth.

The big news is that he earned another reduction last week (3 drops below 50), back down to 2 U. Seems to be holding the reduction so far. Only one brief hint of green, but so long as he's not sky high all the time I'm happy.

Hi Lisa, wishing you and Oberon good vibes. Glad to hear he is generally doing well. I hope you can clear up the nausea and chin acne.
Hugs to both of you:bighug::bighug:

Good luck with the 2 unit dose. He does seem a little more bouncy now.

Infections are harder to treat with an immunocompromised kitty. :(

I'm wondering if the bounciness is from the steroid; seems like he's been bouncier than usual since we started it.

And I wanted more green... here we go! It's like he knows when I have to be up early in the morning.
