After the nice green cycle yesterday, we bounced last night and then at some point in the early morning he broke that bounce after I went to bed. This morning he was at 103 and then he rose in the blues and stayed in the blue for most of the day. Now his +11 is at 77. So he must have started to drop around +9 to +10, similar to what he did during his nighttime cycle. What does that mean? Is that his depot? Is that too much insulin? Is he one of those cats that has a really late nadir? How do I handle this?

Also I had to feed him about 30 minutes earlier tonight because he began to spit up clear vomit and was pawing at his food bowl. I'm going to check him at his normal PMPS time and still give him his shot at his normal time.

He went down a little to 74 after eating his 9%. I gave him a spoon of 15% at his normal feeding time because I want his shot to have something to work with by +2. I know normally you would wait to see if he would rise on his own, but because he spit up clear foam and was so hungry, I didn't want to do that.
I hope Kai has a calm cycle, Maddie. I’m sorry to hear he was puking earlier.
It’s not the worst thing to give him a little MC if you feel he could dive too low.

Love those greens, but I get your concerns/questions, Maddie. Jude has been going through some weird changes in the past few days--nadir is late in the cycle: it used to always be around +3, +4; now it's sometimes +12. So something's changed for us as well. I'll be interested to hear the feedback you get.

Take it easy, Kai--wishing you a safe p.m. cycle!

I am loving these greens too! :D I may be jumping the gun and it may be too early to tell what is going on since we just switched up his snack schedule.

Mr. Jude has been having some really great cycles lately! Keep up the great work! :bighug:

I'm so sorry I'm just seeing this. Poor baby! And poor you! I would have told you to shoot :blackeye:.
How long before your next test.
Kau, thats low enough!! Time to come up pwease

Late cycle drops can also be the result of a bounce breaking cycle. He doesn't typically nadir late, so I wouldn't call him a later nadir cat.

Could you fit "reduce at <45" in your signature? I know it's in your spreadsheet, but good to have it repeated there as well.

Thats good to hear! I really don't want his nadir to be so late in the cycle :nailbiting:

And I was able to add his reduce number to our signature :joyful:

Thank you, Wendy!

No worries! We got it under control so far.
