Ahh! We haven't seen numbers this low before!! I know 95 is good, his nadir is usually around +6 or +8 so I'm going to keep monitoring today to make sure he doesn't go hypo. Any advice on how to proceed the rest of the day? How low is too low? We have high carb food at the ready if needed.

95 is still at the upper end of the normal range of numbers with a human meter. Feed some normal LC food and test at +5.

Looking at the SLGS protocol, would we decrease his dose by .25 units for his PM dose? Now I’m worried about him going low while I’m at work tomorrow too.

 

So starting tonight go down to 2.0. Congrats on the reduction. Yes. With SLGS any drop under 90 means a .25 reduction is earned.

Alright, it seems like we’re in the clear, we’re at 80 at +8. Gonna keep testing every 2 hours for his curve, reduce to 2 units for tonight, and try to get some more readings before I go to sleep.

His PMPS was 277 and +3 was 344 I’m guessing he’ll have another bounce after today?
