Aurora - Need new meter

Hi Everyone! Long time no talk! Aurora is still OTJ and doing well. I haven't been testing her since I ran out of the Relion Confirm Micro test strips. I did buy another meter but it needed more than the micro meter did which was .3 and I had a hard time with that one so gave up. I researched and was told that the ADR Arkray strips were compatable with the old relion micro confirm but I just called that company and they said they don't make the strips anymore. Ugh. What meter is everyone using that requires a very small amount of blood? I have no idea what I need to purchase. I was testing her weekly every sunday but haven't in at least 6+ months and really want to get back to checking just to be sure I know where she's at.

Thanks everyone!!! Hope everyone is doing well!

The only other 3 I know that take the 0.3 are Nova Max (strips are cheaper, meter temperamental) and Free Style Lite (no experience with it) and the Alpha Trac.

Thank you so much! So you're 100% sure those strips will work with my Relion Micro Confirm meter? I'll order today once you re confirm. Phew! Thank you!

The link I posted works in the micro meter. Relion is the rebranded name for Wal-Mart.

The Glucocard 01 is the same as the Relion Confirm and the strips can be used in either meter (no matter what Walmart or Arkray say!). The Glucocard 01 Sensor strips also work in the Arkray Glucocard 01 Mini, which is the same as the Relion Micro.
That said, it doesn't seem as if the Glucocard 01 meters are being made any more, but the Glucocard 01 Sensor test strips are. You should certainly be able to use them in your Relion meter.

So glad to hear that Aurora is doing well. :cat:

Confirm and Micro used the same strips. The micro was the thinner version of the confirm.

I use the glucocard 01 strips in my Relion micro/mini.
