Yo cats and kittens of all ages

It’s time for everyone to gather together for the full moon pawty! Tonight, we celebrate the full Snow Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentors, Chef Felix, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Snow Moons past:

Appetizers: Hot Tuna Toddies; Icebreakers; Glüwein; Nip-infused Aquavit; Adirondack Microbrews; Paw Prints Assorted Pizzas; Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wings; Pickled Herring; 3-Cheese Fondue; Sushi Bar specialties of L&LL Sushi Chef Tux and featuring Chef Neko’s fabulous sushi rolls made with ice-caught Indian Lake fish.

Entrees: Grilled ice-caught Lake Trout (you catch 'em, we grill 'em); Brunswick Stew; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili with Fresh Salsa; Wild Turkey Casserole; BigMac's Burger Extravaganza; Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Catnip Mayo; NY style Hot Dogs with Everything.

Salads: Butthead's and Donny's Winter Greens; Confetti Slaw.

Desserts: Snow Cones; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies; Maggie's Blue-Ice Cheesecakes; Apple Torte à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Snowy Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.

Apres-ski: French Toast and Flapjacks with Adirondack Maple Syrup.

Newer traditions include Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan; KitKat’s Duck pate stuffed cupcakes with catnip icing, served at mousie temperature. You'll find Bella's Catinis at the Bella Memorial Tiki Hut.

Not feeling up to pawtying and dancing? Worry not! The Taster Blankets including Olive’s Memorial Blanket will be set up away from the hustle and bustle for you. Roxi will be running notes back to me and the Kitchen Krew to make sure the food is as good as can be. The blankets have a great view of the Circle of Remembrance too, and all the other kitties will join you at midnight as the veil thins to see all our precious Gone Ahead kitties. It is always so magical to see our friends and family on the other side of the veil

Our very own in-house dance troupe, “Ruby and the Kittens” will be getting the party started early and dancing the night away. Please join them on the dance floor if you’re feeling up to it.

Just for tonight, we're going to be having a just for fun contest too - send us your best snow pictures from this winter (I don't have any - we were promised lots but it never happened). We'll announce the winners tomorrow!

So find your best pawty outfits and come join the pawty. We’re going to have so much fun!

Check out our new aprons too! Aren’t they awesome?

Chef Luna

Juliette won't be able to stay too long tonight as old Josephine is not feeling that great and she doesn't want to leave poor grandma alone too long! She's such a good girl! Hope everybody enjoys this beautiful monthly gathering ending with the Circle of Remembrance and its so precious moments.

Juliette really is such a good girl taking care of Josephine. We'll send a care package of food home with her to share with Josephine as she can't stay long tonight. Chef Luna

Kitties all - it's time for the very best part of every Full Moon pawty. It's time for the Circle of Remembrance. Gather round - make sure everyone has a good view. Jackson, come up to the front so you can get the very best view of Ginger! Soon, our pawty will be in full swing again as we dance and feast until dawn. But now, let's be so still and quiet while we wait for the Bridge to come into view. The full moon is so very bright tonight and the sky is so clear that we're going to have a wonderful view of all our beloved GAs at the Bridge pawty. I can just hear them now pawtying alongside us and any moment now we'll get our first glimpse of them too! ~Chef Luna

Ivan texted me that he's back at the party after helping Juliette get her care package home to Josephine. We hope Josephine is feeline better very soon! (He 'purrciated the extra goodies Chef Luna sent along to help him be less tempted to try just a nibble from the care package.)

Leroy's going to bring blue and green FDMB insulin shoes for friends to try on and pick their own special pair :D:smuggrin:
I wish we'd known about the blue and green shoes in Felix's day! He was far too inclined to wear yellow and pink shoes--sometimes kicking them off and prancing around in his lime-green socks.

I tried to attach a photo but I'm not figuring it out on my phone (haven't yet replaced that laptop the foster kittens broke). We haven't had much snow this year either, but I did take a photo of stray cat footprints in the snow the other day, and then later a photo of a deer near the livetrap I had set up to try to catch said cat. No luck yet, and it's been so cold here.

So I guess you'll have to use your imagination about the photos. People attending virtual cat full moon parties seem to have pretty good imaginations!

Ivan is such a gentleman. It's a pleasure to send some nibbles with him any time he's looking after our other partygoers.

Roxi is just the same - mostly pink with some yellow and a few red. Green and blue would be awesome but mom bean says now Roxi's almost 17 and has allll the medical problems, having her happy for a little bit longer is more important than green numbers.

I'm sure we can all imagine some adorable cat footprints in the snow...and a deer. I haven't tried attaching pictures with my phone, but since I can barely do anything useful on phone apps, I can't imagine it's straightforward.

Juliette was so happy to see Ivan! She keeps saying "What a guy ...... " !!!

We've spent all day looking at the gorgeous photos that everyone brought with them to the pawty...including the kitties who I know were there but who didn't comment to say they were bringing pictures with them.

The pictures were so beautiful and so varied that we really can't choose between them. So we're going to say that everyone won! Thanks to Rosie, Bailie, Ivan, Nestle, Juliette and Josephine, Jackson, Ivy, and Leroy for bringing us such beautiful pictures. Roxi, Ruby and the Kittens, and I have all very much enjoyed looking at them all! Until next Full Moon - use those green and blue shoes that Leroy brought everyone! Let's try to have all our kitties in great numbers and in great health ready for the next pawty! ~Chef Luna
