    Hello Everyone,

ace was reading 3.2 on the human meter for his PMPS which isn’t the norm for him. I decided to skip the dose and I tested again in 30 minutes and was only at 6.5 but this was after eating.
Now at +4 after a no shot he is reading 25.8

I’m wondering if it would be wise to give him his dose now rather than wait until his next regular dose time?
we are at 16 hours since his last shot.
The vet says it would be recommended to give the insulin now but I am just double checking.

    Thank you!

Looking at SS looks like you shot? That's ok, you'll just be off schedule for a bit while you work your way back.

I am wondering if that first strip was right ...either way I'd actually have reduced, assuming he went under your reduction point during the day yesterday. He should be ok today with that 400+ reading (I think), but I would reduce tonight

Yes I had posted in the Facebook group as well and was given a bit of reassurance that it would be okay!
And okay good to know about the reduction I will reduce for the next dose
