BG seems to have increased compared to 10-11-20. Is the current dose too low? Please look at SS and evaluate.
Nadir used to be at 3hr. Where is it now? It seems to keep shifting.
I do not understand what is going on. What is the explanation?
    Thank you.

Nadirs can change on a whim - how annoying!
I am thinking Merlin needs a little more juice but wait for someone with more low-dose experience to confirm. :)

Nadirs don't stay the same. Makes this management of feline diabetes more challenging.

Merlin needs more "Juice", insulin being the juice. He shouldn't be getting those pinks and yellows if the 0.1U was working well for him. He should be down in the blues and greens. I think it's past time for a dose increase.

So a tiny increase. How about trying for 0.2U? or 0.15U? Your choice.

Thank you for the advice. I increased to 0.2 U.

I see that Merlin got down to the low blues on 10/27/20 and he is now bouncing up to those pink pre-shot levels again.

Here's hoping his BG levels will settle down in a few more cycles.

Deb, I appreciate that you keep track of the SS. I am discouraged today; Merlin looks so frail and lethargic. He is not digesting his food. He bounced again. I am just not giving stable, accurate doses with the tiny amount he needs. There is no smaller syringe than the 0.3 ml U-40, is there?

    No there is not.

Some people use calipers, to measure the dose and get more accuracy in the dose.
There is a thread in the Health Links/FAQS forum about doing that. Look in the Index to find it.
