Minner - see her eating with paws

As testament to Minner’s weirdness with food, check her out eating on her own this morning. Does your kitty do this? It wreaks havoc on carpet and flecks of food stick to walls from the flicking. Apparently she is also ambidextrous.

Yes, that is her buffet and it’s the holding area for the residual from new can she gets each time I feed her during active part of cycle. She usually doesn’t eat leftovers unless she’s super hungry.

She’s very picky with food, took 4 months last year to break her dry food addiction. Even now I usually have to sprinkle freeze dried chicken on her FF pate multiple times per eating session, unless she’s super hungry. The exceptions are FF chunky (chicken - 4% and turkey - 5%) and Weruva Goldie Lox (4-5%). She’s eating the Lox in this video. Someone from this forum turned me on to Lox — big thanks. She loves it. She won’t eat any other weruva food I’ve tried, but Lox is by far her new fave.

At very beginning you’ll get a glimpse of her “chewing cud” thing, which she does all the time while she is eating. Right side only. No clue what that is about. Vets don’t know either. I assume one future day she will need a dental and they can get a close look to see if there is something weird with her teeth spacing or surface.

Enjoy and happy watching!

Well, she certainly has some exquisite manners, eating with her paws and all. And talented, too--ambidextrous! Mine either eat directly from the bowl or occasionally take the food from the bowl with their mouths and put it on the floor and eat it; nothing so delicate as Minner's technique. She's precious!

This must be an orange cat behavior cause Nestle does this sometimes too. I usually have to yell at him to stop as he makes a mess eating with his paws haha. I'll see if I can find a video of him as well.
