My cat has preshot of 230 on Alphatrak. She is usually higher. I do not have a curve for her, she is recently and back on ProZinc after a short stint on Novolin. She gets 2 units of ProZinc. Just want to make sure I won’t be bringing her down too low. Thanks for feedback.

Without any data, there's really nothing we can give you in the way of helpful advice.

We usually say you can shoot when they're over 200, but that's usually at the beginning when the cat is on a smaller dose....and then you test enough to learn how your cat responds to both the insulin and food. As you gain more experience and data, you learn when it's safe to shoot lower numbers.

Are you home testing? Can you test as much as necessary tonight?
