Safe treats to use as rewards before checking BG

My cat will come willingly to his perch, where I can get his Blood Glucose, and his insulin, if I offer him treats. But my vet wants me to watch fat content, and carbs of course, so I’m looking for recommendations of treats others have found to not throw BG readings off.

You can try pieces of boiled chicken or any ham cut in little square that has 1-2 % carbs, I buy the ham at Publix called Frick’s Gourmet Ham it only has 1 % , just make sure you read the label, also Fancy Feast has a few natural salmon and tuna snack 0% carbs just don’t give any temptation snacks or other brands they contain more than 25% carbs

Here's a List of healthy treats you can use.

Cats are very efficient at burning fat, unlike dogs, so I wouldn't worry a lot about the fat content. (Vets are more used to seeing diabetic dogs than cats and often treat their feline patients like small dogs)
