? Shot or no shot ??

    Shot is due now can some one please look at cinnamon chart ? Thanks

    Hi Bennie (I hope I have your name right),

    I see that you have only recently started testing. And it's great that you have. We ask people not to shoot below 200. Since Cinnamon is above the no-shoot number, you can give the shot. However, since you are shooting your lowest pre-shot number yet, it is important that you monitor her this cycle. Will you be able to do that? I would suggest that you get a +2 (test 2 hours after the shot).

    I see from your previous thread that you have started transitioning her to LC food and have also dropped the dose from 7U to 2U.

    I also see a comment in your SS saying "fed breakfast at +11"? We ask that food be withheld for 2 hours before the shots so that you do not get a food influenced number at pre-shot.

    You can give the shot, but only if you are able to test/monitor her after giving it.

    Forgot to add, could you please update your signature to add the
    (a) The date Cinnamon was diagnosed
    (b) The meter you are using
    (c) What you are feeding
    (d) The dosing protocol you are following (SLGS or TR)
    (e) Any history of ketones, DKA or any other health issues/medicines

    Do for eg:
    Cinnamon, 5 years, DX: 11/11/2020, Lantus, Freestyle, Transitioning to LC canned,
