Help. This is the first fur shot since joining the FDMB. What do you do? I think you assume none went in.... In the past I have done everything from repeating the dose to a partial dose... What should I do?

The standard advice is not to shoot again. Even though you think no insulin went in, you just can't be sure. Darn, sorry.

  3. On a fur shot, you're only real choice is to skip, in my opinion. Since there is no way to know "how much" went in, you can't assume "none", "half" or "most".

I wouldn't feel comfortable suggesting you shoot again or give a partial dose. The safest thing to do is give you and Wynk a "night off", and continue on in the morning.

Take it as a night to get some rest and not worry. It's the safest choice to skip...we've ALL done it. Fur shots happen.
