There is a reason Squallie is so high this morning. I have a very dear friend, who I love like a family member, who is the most scatterbrained person I have ever met in my life. I have told her repeatedly that my cats DO NOT eat dry food and that Squallie can only have specially-approved treats. So every time she comes to my house - and she is here almost every holiday - she lovingly brings a bag of dry food and contraband treats for my kitties. I have explained to her repeatedly WHY we don't allow this; I thought that might stick with her, because she is DIABETC HERSELF !!! It didn't even make a dent in her memory, lol. So we try to catch the food/treats as soon as she brings them in (she always brings 3-4 shopping bags FULL of just STUFF!) but a bag of food must have gotten past us last night. When we got up this morning all 4 cats were happing noshing their way through a bag of lovely dry food! :arghh::banghead::banghead::banghead::arghh:

Fortunately,, it looks like he came back down without much ado! ;):):cat:
 
Oh, Lucy :eek: Have been watching eagerly for your condo for Squallie update since he has not fully been himself lately :nailbiting: When I looked at title and saw the 242 I went :woot::woot::woot:... then calmed down at the 66. Glad he bounced back so quickly :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Lucy, you are a very kind person. If I had a friend or family member that did this, they would no longer be welcome at my home. So glad that Squallie came down so quickly!
 
She is truly a dear friend and a dear person as well, or I would not tolerate it! She's just very scatterbrained; she's gotten worse since she lost her husband a couple of years ago, but she's always been bad at remembering anything. She 9and her husband, when he was still alive) have been coming to our house for most holiday dinners for 20+ years. She always brings something with pumpkin for Thanksgiving and Christmas, in spite of my telling her repeated over the last 20 years that we don't like pumpkin! But she means well, her heart is in the right place. :)
