Yesterday was a sad day! We lost 2 little kitties: Doc and Thos! Prayers for Lysera @Squeaky and KT (GA) and for Tom @Tom & Thomas (GA) !

Since 4 days, early morning Ti-Mousse throws up and he never did before! I was really getting worried! This morning: NOTHING !! :)
We feed 2 stray cats outside; when DH fills up their bowls of kibbles downstairs, he sometimes drops some and throws them in the waste basket! I'm pretty sure Ti-Mousse found them. Emptied waste basket last night: no puke this morning! I hope that was the problem. If so, I should see his numbers moving down!

He's been on the current dose for 6 cycles but I'll wait to increase. I want to see what this 4.75 is really doing as he managed to get rid of PINKS and stay with a flat YELLOW curve since 3 days !

I was planning to delay the increase in case he would go down today, but he seems very happy in YELLOW. At least no Pink anymore since on that dose, but no Blues as he used to have on previous ones.

Any suggestions on increasing or not tomorrow ? Tks!

Do you see any other reason he might be acro? Even acros can get regulated.
Don't know if those are signs but:
- he doesn't seem to respond quickly like the others, always have to increase;
- when he walks, he looks like if he had swallowed a football ball (vet said because he's too fat); when you try to make a tent for shooting, there's hardly any loose; when he went down from 19 to 12lbs in a few months, I can't remember if he had that belly bump....!!
- he's gaining all his weight back since on insulin (he eats a lot.. that's one reason why I want to switch him to raw) !

I doesn't seem that easy to regulate acro cats and take them into remission is another story .....

IAA or insulin auto antibodies spreadsheets also look like the continuing need to increase insulin. Neko had both, but she also did not have the pot belly and I had no problem tenting her skin. As for regulated acros, check out Amethyst. I have seen quite a few others too, though not all. Same as non acros.

You could also be seeing some glucose toxicity.
