Hi everyone,
Sorry I have been so busy this weekend and I am finally able to post for the day. I'm happy to increase him tonight after seeing those high pinks come back
. Today I noticed my poor guy was finally able to nap, so I was happy to see that. I think that anesthesia really did a number to him. I got the 1mL oral syringe suggested by @Stacy & Asia, to help it rinse down his throat, and even though it's still a bad experience for both of us and I cannot wait until it's over... I think the water has helped to ensure the pill goes down. I also tried cheese and tuna again last night as a latch ditch effort, and he completely ate around the tuna pieces with the pills (how do they know?!) and wasn't interested in the cheese at all. Last night was the last night of the Onsior pain med, so at least I only have one pill to worry about now (the AB) instead of two, because man was he mad by the time the second pill came around.
Side note, I took advantage of the nice weather here in Cleveland today and took my grandma (about to be 94 in June) for a stroll in the park, so that was nice.
