AMPS 142

He may be feeling better. Will have to wait and see further into the morning. But he is cleaning himself and he is more active it seems.

Another Monday!

Glad that Gizmo is feeling better. I just visited your thread from yesterday and hope you are feeling better too. I have had episodes of vertigo too. One episode was so bad that I thought I would fall off my bed! Also, I did vomit, headache, and very sound sensitive. The doc put me something to take, can't remember the name right now. She also gave me an RX to go to ENT doc to discern if it was coming from inner ear issues, also, it can cause hearing loss. It might be worth a trip to the doc . Some people get it from moving to quickly Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)

So excited. I found some more foods to try. Not the lowest in phosphorus but not extremely high either. I found them at petco which was near the Dr office and on the way home.

I got ORGANIX Grain Free turkey AND chicken pate. SOULISTIC Moist and Tender turkey and NATURE’S RECIPE Grain Free in Broth Chicken & Turkey. The info on them is on the food tab in Gizmo's SS (scroll down, under the "to try") - if interested.

Dr. visit was for ultra sound to check for blood clots. None! Yay. I do need some more veins closed but am going to wait until later in the year. My dizziness may be low blood pressure. It was 100/74. They do not think the blood thinners are causing the low blood pressure - if that isn't it, I have no idea what is causing it.

Well, the boy is working the juice tonight. +2=75! and he is waiting beside his food bowl waiting for it to turn (hungry/good appy - fingers crossed). He looks better. I can tell in his eyes when he doesn't feel good and that "look" is almost gone! That makes this mama bean extremely happy. Maybe I can sleep good tonight (hey, Gimzo, you reading this?? - no funny business tonight). :D

Thanks for the info on the food, I always wanted to try Soulistic but isn't easy to find online at a decent price, and that would require a whole case. I see on your sheet that Weruva Truluxe Steak Frites is real low in phosphorus & grass-fed beef, will have to try that too.

Gizmo is iffy on it. I use it mixed with FF turkey and giblets (among others) which brings up the the phos level but, again not too high. Gizmo is a pretty good eater unless his pancreatitis is flaring. I think the Canna and small doses of pain meds yesterday helped. I just need a few more options in my arsenal and it is SO hard to find locally/single cans (to try). I am almost to the point where I don't care the cost but can I get it and does he like it AND is it really low carb.

Wish you were closer I would give you a couple of cans to try. It is the most expensive food I have purchased.

Yep, he is definitely feeling better!

Amazon has a Truluxe variety pack with all 10 flavors I just ordered, just one is higher in carbs and they are all pretty low in phosphorus. I have to keep changing things up for Bronx, he loves new food but gets bored pretty quick.

Maybe the 35 was an inaccurate reading? I do notice if the strip only has a tiny bit of blood to suck up, it can show a low reading.

Don't think so. I added honey so that is why the big jump. I think it would have been much higher if the 35 was inaccurate. I thought about testing again but I know when it is a bad read. It takes the meter longer to give me the number.

Only reason I tested @ +3 was the large drop between +1 & +2.

ETA - +4.5=53 (LC snack)

I will have to pay attention to a longer time to display as a sign of a bad reading, if the Micros do act like the Confirms
