Good morning :coffee:

Yesterday I asked about the cabergoline studies and Wendy listed off who she remembers to be on cabergoline. I know how much this group likes data, so I would love to get the acromegaly autotracker updated for all the cats on here that have acromegaly. I would also like to show it to my vet, like FDMBs own informal study as Wendy said. As of right now, there are no cats on the tracker that are on cabergoline. The only one was Tricia Woods and Hank in 2016, but he was also on Pasireotide.

Shmee's looking great at this dose!

Here is the link to the post by MJW on octreotide with cabergoline.

The study on six cats was by RVC, sorry, got that mixed up. Here is the link to a post about it.

Informal study on FDMB:
Marvin - went OTJ
Gizmo - went OTJ
Tiffany - went OTJ
Maverick - dose reduced
Yum - dose reduced significantly but passed from heart condition
Beenie - dose reduced, also passed from other health issues
Bronx - only on it a short while before stopping for SRT, dose reduced during that time
Floyd - now close to 1/3 of the dose since starting cabergoline
Amethyst - not much response
Malachai - maybe not much response but hard to tell due to lack of testing, bean stopped it and did SRT
Chino - not much response

That's just what I remember. I'm not formally keeping track, but maybe I should.
@Marvin's Mom - Nat
@Chubba (GA)
@tiffmaxee (I think this is who Wendy meant by Tiffany, if not please disregard!)
@Maverick's Mom
@MJW
@Beenie (GA)
@Bronx's dad
@Janine & Floyd
@Pamela & Amethyst
@Olive & Paula
@JeffJ
@LPJ
@Melanie and Smokey

If you have an acro cat, can you please add your information to the acromegaly autotracker? I am very interested in what kind of treatment they have gotten if any, updates, and I think it would be a great to have all of their spreadsheet data handy in one place.
Know someone that is not tagged that has had an acro cat? Please tag them so they can update the tracker as well.
Appreciate it!

Oh yeah and side note - I went to go update my SS and the last few days were gone! :eek: Good thing I have it all written down on paper. So odd. Shmee down to 57 @ +6 today :D I do not get excited very easily since the acro diagnosis, but I am really happy he is doing so well blood sugar wise.

Data disappearing happens to me daily. I also keep it in hard copy form.

That is odd, that Google Sheets is losing data.

I just updated Leoberry's records into the AcroTracker. In general, we estimate he could live up to another 3 or 4 years. The next big issue could get him. His White Blood Cell count is pretty low right now, and he is getting Zorbax to knock down whatever infection he has.

Yes I thought that was very odd, I have used Google Sheets and Docs for years without an issue. I used to use it for school, I could only imagine if I were writing a paper and that happened!! Good thing it was only a few days though. Thanks for updating, Leo sounds to be one tough cookie. I love seeing that his dose has dropped so dramatically! Another 3 to 4 years is long life, I hope the Zorbax helps kick the infection asap.

Looks like Bronx is already in that tracker but I will update it. Thanks for posting!
Thank you, Bronx has dropped in dose by quite a significant amount, I am happy he is doing so well.

I have included Maverick's information.
I'm glad to see the cabergoline is helping to regulate Mavericks blood sugar numbers. I hope it starts to get him into a lower dose soon :bighug:

Pig has been added! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Sarah you are a ROCKSTAR with Pig, I truly hope his urinary issues start to fade and his dose starts to come down. You both are such troopers.
