    Hello everyone !

I'll come back to you to give you news of Plume!

Obviously the sea air and the sun do not suit him so much that I had to increase the dose of insulin!
Plume does not want to eat her food anymore: she only eats raw meat …

But that's not all . I start to worry because if its sugar levels increase, its weight too!
At the beginning of insulin therapy Plume weighed 5,620 kg mid-February,
At the time of passage to Lantus mid-May 6,250kg
and the day before our arrival on vacation 6.560 kg !!!
Plume is rather a little cat so she should not weigh more than 6 kg.
But she weighed up to 7,800 kg !!!!

For now, I'm watching that it does not exceed 170 grams of meat a day.
If she decided to eat pies, 200grs / day.

But on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean do you face this problem?

Looking forward to reading your comments !

If you understood any of that....yeah. I studied French in Paris for 6 months and bummed around Europe. Unfortunately, state side I never had anyone to speak French with. I never did learn it very well anyway. C'est la vie! Viva Les Chats!

Hi Michele - I understood it. You write better French than I do!

    Pour Plume
That is a big change for Plume and her panther mother.
    Cats react differently to change.
Many cats get stress when the change occurs. Probably Plume has that stress.

You are used to real good regulation when you lived near Paris.
Heck - if I lived near Paris, my regulation would be perfect.:D
I think Plume is missing her main home.

Weight control is different in each cat.
For example, Leo does not need food regulation. He eats what he wants all day.
Sometimes too much, sometimes not enough.
We watch for trends over time.
A little fat on a diabetic cat is probably good.
It can help the cat get thru low times.

Some people on the FDMB forum do regulate food to the cat.
Many new cats on FDMB are overfed. That was the cause of their diabetes.
We see some of these cats then get a new and better diet like Fancy Feast.
And then we can also see some of them become

I am traveling this week to New York city (NYC), so I will not be on the forum much.
