Hi everyone! We’re back from vacation!

It was really great and Mowgli did awesome! He flew really well with the exception that he peed in his crate on the long flight to Halifax but we made it through. His most trying travel (for him) was getting used to so much car time. We kept him out of his crate on a leash and he settled in after a while. Now he’s a car travel pro! He even survived a flat tire :P

While we were in NS We has to switch pens because his old one had lost efficacy, and I’m trying not to jinx it but I think with the new pen his curves are finally starting to flatten! *knocks on wood, crosses fingers*

I’ve missed everyone and it looks like I’ve missed a lot I have my work cut out to catch up!

We had such an awesome time! it's so nice to get back to the east coast! Now that I live in a landlocked province its so nice to see the ocean :joyful: I LOVE the panicking one of Mowgli because to me - if I wasn't there... I would think he is actually in party mode... not panic mode :D

Thanks Sonia!! Mowgli is a total traveler now! I feel much more confident in travelling with him too now that we have accomplished two full days of both car and air travel with him. I definitely benefited from everyone's advice here!

I will let Mowgli know that more of his travel experience has been requested :P;)
 
we missed you -- welcome back -- pix of Mowgli are great -- kudos to the experienced traveler -- glad you had a good trip -- pictures look like what I imagine when I read Lucy Maud Montgomery's books -- am surprised you didn't have a crowd in that waiting room wanting to pet Mowgli ...

I LOVE your photos!! I looked quickly this morning and didn't even see Mowgli sitting in the seat at the terminal or that perfect shot of his handsome self in the rear view mirror!

I love the ocean too but I can understand why it isn't for everyone. My two young nieces hate the sand :eek:

Mowgli will have to take ME on a trip next :P
 
Welcome back! Yes, you were indeed missed her on the forum! Mowgli is now a certified traveler!! Sorry to hear he didn't get along very well with is sis - but that's to be expected :) He's been on his own for too long now to go back to the old neighborhood and act like nothing has changed. I know that feeling well. Luci is a great traveler too - both air and car - I do believe once they figure out there's no trip to the 'V' involved - it's all about how much they enjoy the tour! And all the attention :)

It's such a relief to know that Mowgli is a great traveler. Now I wont have to worry in the future if we head back to NS about taking him!

Thanks Armish! We had such a great time! And it is a total relief to know that travelling with Mowgli is doable. It honestly was never a true inconvenience!

Nova Scotia is awesome! I specifically recommend summer or fall. Summer is beautiful but fall has such stunning colours!

I was finding his journey hilarious too!! I’m glad you enjoyed the pics!!

I didn’t let Mowgli out of the carrier because he was SO desperate when I even patted him through the top that I would be too scared he would escape.

The pic you chose as priceless is probably my fave from the trip!
