Good morning everyone,
Since we are leaving Sunday night I decided to reduce today to 3.25, although now I am thinking I might have jumped the gun and it was too early to reduce. Oh well too late now. I wanted to ere on the side of caution knowing how the depot can affect him sometimes. I think I am pretty much all ready for the trip, other than last minute things that need to be done day-of. @JeffJ I added the plastic to the bottom of the crate. I have a family reunion picnic Saturday (perfect timing o_O) that I cannot miss since I created it... I asked DH this morning if he can take over the nighttime and early morning shift for me from now on so I can try to get some sold zzz's before the trip Sunday. If I get really lucky I will be able to sleep during the day Sunday too, I hope so because I can't remember the last time I tried staying up all night, let alone driving. I never drank coffee, so I have lots of energy drinks. Still the most scared I have ever been in my life but having all of you for support has helped a tremendous amount. Thank you :bighug:

Oh yeah PS - Shmee's appetite seems to be better these last few days, I swear the Gaba kickstarted his hunger. Maybe the timing just correlates, but when we got back from the vet Monday night he acted starving!

It could be he has been uncomfortable or had some pain somewhere and the gab is taking care of it so he feels good.

Are you driving through the night? I give you credit for that, I don't like driving into a place I don't know during the day let alone at night.

Do you drink tea? Iced tea would be good on the road. Be careful with the energy drinks until you know how it affects you. Some people have experienced heart palpitations or racing hearts with them.

Are you coming through it near Scranton at all? You can use me for a stop if you need to.

Glad to hear the plastic is now in place. Yes, a big drive coming up. It will be exciting to get through the process.

I hope Shmee continues to have good appetite and that he can build up a little more fat reserves before the surgery. With even more luck, the weather will hold for your drive.

Oh wow, I didn't think of that and that makes sense. He is a tough guy... doesn't really show pain. Ugh.

Yes I am and I have drank them before, I don't often but I have. They do get me buzzed, like a sugar high. I will definitely try not to drink more than I need! I couldn't really think of anything else that would keep me up, because I don't like coffee.

I just looked it up and you are about an hour north of our route, thank you for the offer though, that would have been nice to meet.

FYI, your link to yesterday doesn't work.

Good luck on Sunday!!
Oops!! I rush before work when I do the morning condos o_O haha thank you, all fixed!

I admire your commitment to Shmee, he is one lucky kitty.
Thank you Tracey. :bighug: I am extremely attached to him. I know I am making an informed decision, but I still can't help but think I hope it's going to be worth it.
