I dunno. But I like it! Maybe she just got tired of seeing my shoulders shrug after testing!

Lazy day. Cats sleeping. Dogs sleeping. Oh, a short walk through the nearby park with the woofers.

Yes, woofers. Plural. Suzi came home the 30th. Found about a month ago in Moab, older, riddled with pellets, nasty skin condition, pretty beat up feet, and more lumps than my mashed potatoes. Oh, and she's deaf. My kind of dog!

I met her a little while ago; she's been a counter dog at the BF clinic awaiting room at admissions. She would not do well at the Sanctuary. Too submissive and vulnerable. Will is fine with her. Cats, too. Suzi has discovered beds and likes sleeping on mine. Both Polly and Rowsie shared it with her last night. We've started working on door manners but everything else is well in place!

So....here's Suzy.

She's starting to feel at home. She tore up a dog toy today!

Last year didn't end so well for us. Fuzzy crossing; Polly's numbers being enigmatic. This year. A good start. I think our little cloud come to earth is watching out for us!

Vines and wishes.

Nice numbers for Polly today. Suzy looks like she is making her self at home. Probably just glad to have a nice home to lay her head. I don't know why people can be so cruel to animals.

Nice #'s for Polly. Polly surf safe for Momma K?
Suzi is precious. She knows she has found a wonderful home and wonderful Momma! She looks so peaceful and content. Nice that she and the other furbabies get along.:)

Suzi is adorable - and she looks like she couldn't be any more comfortable in her new home. She totally sounds like my kind of a dog too. I had an older Chow mix join my pack a few months ago. He found himself in a large, inner-city kill shelter and was placed on the rescue only list due to his age and overall deplorable condition. I drove three hours to pull him for our rescue and took him home the next day. Three months later, he has finally grown back most of his hair, put on some weight and his liver and kidney values are almost in normal range. What is even more amazing though is that he loves everyone. He lets my three-legged kitten climb all over him, plays with my younger dogs and is just an overall great dog.

I just wish that people were a bit more like that - that they would just live in the moment instead of dwelling on the past.

Marilyn......you have such a kind soul......Suzi looks a sweetheart and is soooo lucky to have found you! I am sure she will repay you with bucket loads of love and devotion!

Marilyn, you are a blessing for all your fur crew, Suzi is one very lucky dog to have found you. So glad to hear that she is settling in well. As you say, a good start to 2016, hope it's a good one for you.

Go Polly!
Yep I am with the others, Marilyn, bless your heart!! I love Suzi already, glad the rest of your crew has embraced her as well!
All the best for 2016

Ah, she looks so content, there is a special place for you Marilyn. Polly looks like she found a new grove for the New Year, what a great day!

Polly looks great, and Suzi looks very content. Marilyn, you are a very special person with a huge heart. I wish you peace and joy in the New Year, and good health for your little herd. How lovely to have them all get along so soon.

Just seeing this. What a happy new year for Suzi! Marilyn, we wish you and your gang a wonderful year ahead. Polly looks great.
Hugs and scritches,
Ella & Rusty
