1/12 Recap:
AMPS 116 +6 188 +9 142
PMPS 122 +5.5 184

First green of the year! And the expected usual reaction from the pancreas/liver team. At least she's hit onset now and headed back down.

Sunny day for the solarium. Woot! :woot: Been a while since the conditions have been right for that. And I'm about to pluck her from her sunny warm bed and take her off to the acupuncture vetty. Mean mom.

I feel like a mean mom when I get Max up from sleeping to test. Think how much better Neko will feel after and forge ahead!

We are back, and she managed to get a couple of minutes in the solarium sun.

@ Elise, Carla, Tricia - I'm so glad I took her to acupuncture today. Neko had been looking a little humpy backed the last couple of days, and vetty found some tender muscles on one side. Maybe when she tried to leap away from the vacuum monster last week? Anyway, she's already walking better. And bonus - I found some freeze dried duck tongues in the pet food store next door. :) Been a while since I've seen those in stock.

Eh? You have some of the most obscure food in Vancouver- Never seen or heard of such a thing LOL!

Good girl Neko- I bet that woke mamabean up quickly this morning! Glad to hear Neko had a good accupuncture session and could take in some scare rays of the sun today! I hope her poopy problems from the AB are over with- sending healing vines!

I'm with Ruth. Duck Tongues???? Does this mean there are lots of little ducks somewhere without tongues? So cats can eat? (I take care of a small flock, 5, of ducks at a local fenced in pond...I will have nightmares tonight about those little guys going qua...., qua.....qua....because they don't have tongues necessary to make the ack, ack, ack sound.)

For the important stuff. GREEN! Hoping the color visits more often and more regularly.

Marilyn and Polly

@pollydoodle you crack me up! Oh we have similar senses of humor...

Since this was purchased at a pet store, I am assuming this "delightful" treat is for Neko and not the hoomans?

Yay for green and boo for bounce! Glad her acupuncture seems to be helping!

Little girl found her greenio again today. :D:cool:

@ Ruth, Marilyn, Molly - you guys crack me up. Freeze dried duck tongues are used in some asian food dishes, but here they are just used as cat snacks. They are a good chew - good for cleaning the teeth. I presume they take them out of the ducks when they are on their way to being roast duck or duck l'orange. Yes, we do get some weird things here. I think water buffalo tripe is included in the oddest I've seen.

Yay for GREEN! :D:D:D Glad lucky Miss Neko got some sunshine in the solarium and happy to read she's feeling better after acupuncture vetty visit. Duck tongues. Oh nom nom nom!!! I went through a streak where I found some weird freeze dried treats online and ordered a bunch of them. We still have some turkey hearts and turkey livers in the cupboard. I got some freeze dried duck feet too at the time. I'm not sure what I expected, but they were actual whole duck feet, legs and all. After some initial excitement from the cats, and Eddie carrying them around in his mouth and gnawing on them, the rest got donated to a drooler friend.

It's a good thing I don't have to hunt my own food. I'd starve. I'm going to have nightmares thinking about those poor ducks. I'm glad the acupuncture is working so quickly. Hopefully it will help Her tummy too. Have a great night.
