Interesting that I've only fed Weruva low carb this morning and still a good spike. It makes me think my theory that lots of times some of what appears to be a food spike is the last dose wearing off.

I've been thinking that too lately. Doodle's food spikes are back and it doesn't matter what or how much he eats. During his all green phase it seemed to stop or be less but they are back in full force.

Max never used to like Paw Lickin Chicken but I decided to try it again because I'm worried about his kidneys. He's drinking a lot which he never did because I've added water to all his food and cut back some in how much FD treats he gets. He's urinating a lot more too. I've only given him one can so far which he ate so too soon to tell. My plan is to give it to him when he's really hungry and not dropping. It's very low calorie and he could stand to lose a little fluff so we will see how it goes.

Sheba loves Weruva too. I give it to her occasionally for a change from raw diet. She gets a food spike on zero carb food.

Looks like a delayed bounce from a couple cycles ago. Max tends to do that.

Interesting that Sheba gets a food spike in 0 carbs.

I haven't been able to get any of my kitties to eat Weruva. Very frustrating. Right now they are all on a Friskies binge, as I try to get Minka to eat anything. They're loving it, but I'm concerned about Harvey's kidneys. There are so few low Phos pates out there, and even fewer that they will eat.
