Naturally I'm saying this with a boatload of anti-jinxes, but the two ABs Trix is on are really working on something-or-other. In hindsight, I missed some very subtle changes in her behavior, because since she has been on these ABs, her energy is remarkable, as is her appy....and she DID have a happy appy before she got really sick last weekend! And social....she has always been my computer-chair snuggler, but now she is snuggling on the couch on a regular basis. This is something she never really did even pre-diabetes, much less pre-p-titis. And the numbers....they were pretty good before, but they are way better now.

Being such a helicopter, I don't know how I missed whatever it was, but I did.

Once again, anti-jinx.

Today started off nicely...happy appy, some adventure-hunting, a very brief Happy Pee Dash. She was feeling feisty at gelcap time...fortunately I did get it down on the second try, because she also swatted me with that second try. After that, we probably would have been in Hiss City. Banana Meds are not a favorite, but they are going down. And, her tummy seems to be fine with the double-AB situation so far (another anti-jinx here!). Hopefully they are permanently knocking out whatever it was that was making her feel unwell.

I'm still working on the cranberry search, but the probiotics are going into her food and she's fine with that.

I'm at work....bummed that I'm not home with the kitties....better start actually working.

Have a great day, L&LL!

Amy

PS....one last anti-jinx for good measure.

Woohoo!!! Hindsight is 20/20, and infections are hard to pick up on. I don't think you could watch her any more closely, Amy. Have a great day!

Great start for Trixie and great to hear she is feeling so good. Gee I don't know how you missed the signs. ;) You are way too hard on yourself. Have a great day AmY!!

Go Trixie!:D It's so hard to tell an off day from a slightly ill day. Even helicopters have to land to fuel up.

Great WCR and we're all just thrilled that Trixie is feeling so good...and giving you all those snuggles!!

Keep it up Trixie!!

(extra anti-jinx just in case you didn't put enough in....lol)

I can't believe you missed that, Amy! What kind of a helicopter outfit are you running anyway? Shame on you! ;););):rolleyes::rolleyes:

For heaven's sake! You are the best, most observant Mamabean on the planet! Give yourself a break. You did a great job getting her in and treated and getting her meds in her, and now look at her!!! I wish I was half as good as you are!

P.S. Extra anti-jinxes and a few knocks-on-wood for good measure!

Keep piling on those anti-jinxes....let's hope this PMBG is stress-induced from the neighbors taking down a very large tree 8 feet from our house. I wasn't here, but it had to be a chaoticly noisy day. And they've got more trees coming down tomorrow....

Great report for Trixie today. So glad she is doing better on the ABs too. You're an amazing momma bean Amy..don't under estimate your efforts and its not always that easy to understand a kitties day to day changes in behaviors..it takes a lot of patience when giving all the meds and supps, monitoring numbers, etc. etc. Anti jinx vines coming your way too! Agree that the tree cutting could be affecting that pmps:mad:. Enjoy the snuggles..:cat:

Happy Appy and couch snuggles continue into this evening. No follow-up pokey tonight, even though she was higher than I expected before din-din....we'll see what tomorrow brings. I'm pretty sure it was up there because of the tree work....I hope....
