Yesterday's Tears in Our Eyes Condo
I still am having trouble wrapping my brain around the magnitude of the losses suffered in LL yesterday. My heart aches for Suzanne, Matt & Matty, Jen and Tonya. I pray they will all take comfort in knowing so many share their sorrow. I gave my three babies an extra hug or two last night, and Harvey can expect the same when I get him back home. Life is too darned short.
Cinco has decided to slide on down to the edge of the lagoon. He seems uncertain about whether or not to dip his toes in. Much as I love to see that green, I'm happy he got so close. I want him to practise surfing right there! We're going to be out all day tomorrow, so I need him to do the same then. Hear that, Cinco?
The surgery student watching over Harvey called this morning to say all looks good and I can come to pick him up and speak to the surgeon at 4:30 this afternoon. He didn't eat his breakfast, even though it was one of his favorites. Not sure if it's just the stress of where he is, or an upset tummy, but I'll be glad to get him home to fuss over him. And hug.
Minka was her usual fussy eater self this morning. I tried both z/d and a/d on her, as she has eaten them in the past and they are both low phos, but no sale. She did eat some more Max Cat chunky chicken, so I need to pick some more of that up today on my way to get Harvey. It's much better for her than FF, so I call that a win.
Sasha has been losing a little bit of weight every week, even though I felt like her appy was improving. She seems to have thrown up a little bit last night and wasn't terribly interested in breakfast today. I gave her some Ondansetron and Pepcid. She nibbled a little at the z/d I offered her, but only ate one of the treats I planted in what she left. It's got me a little
I've spent the morning making up for all the times I haven't visited condos, and now I need to get my rear in gear and get dressed and work out before I go get my Harvey.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans.
Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF & DH, Lisa's DF and Elise's DM.
Many extra hugs to our bereaved LL family members.
