Sorry I have not been around much lately...school holidays here. The only time I can get near the iPad is evening and it is too late to post then. So I have been trying to catch up with news at night and post in a few condos. I have a window of opportunity at the moment so am posting before the troop arrives.

AMPS 167
Sheba has been doing fairly well since I changed the insulin cartridge. Apart from bouncing she has had some very nice cycles. Only problem with that is very broken nights from PJ parties and I can't have naps during the day at the moment. Not complaining though!
One of the boys has been holding the monitor and getting the blood when I test Sheba..........I am very tempted to teach one of them to test and then I will have someone else who can do it if I can't.

OT. One of my cleaners who comes on Fridays loves Sheba and always goes and sees her first before starting. She showed me a photo of her cat who has just had kittens........3 beautiful silver tabbies. I think she is keeping them all...... She doesn't speak much English and it was hard to get her to understand when I was asking. I was very tempted to ask about one but I am not sure Sheba would like it.

I'm glad Sheba has been doing well. It sounds like you've been busy. Don't worry if you don't have time to post. We'll be here when you do. I hope you're over being sick now.

Thanks Carla...I am over my respiratory virus and feel much better.
+2 250 food spike
+4 173 on the way back down.....good girl Sheba.
Now, if we could just sell the trampoline/ give it away or throw it to the tip ..........

Such a pretty blue dress, Miss Sheba. You should wear it more often. And not too many PJ parties while the bean is on school holiday babysitting duty, please.

Glad to hear you're feeling better Bron. School goes back here next week. Is it the same for you, or do you have another week of the grandkids?

So cool on the young fella helping with the tests. I think it's a great idea to get a few of them trained up. Apart from giving you a break here and there it won't hurt Sheba to get used to anyone doing it in case you are away sometime and have a pet sitter coming in.

So glad you're feeling better, that was a nasty bug!

+6 65 gave drop honey to stop drop as she is dropping too fast and I don't want her to drop too low......she will only bounce.

Yes Carolyn, school goes back next wednesday here also......just as we are starting to have some lovely weather!

Serryn, I am thinking I will teach a couple of the kids to test. They are quite capable and Sheba would let them. One of my daughters would give the shots I think so I will teach the kids in that family. No plans to go anywhere but it is something which worries me that I have no fall back plan.

Rhiannon.......wish I could banish the trampoline!
Thanks all for checking on us, much appreciated.

Glad to hear all is well in Shebaland, and you have finally got rid of that nasty virus. Great idea to get the grandkids trained up with testing, might give you a little more nap time.

I hope you decide to take one of the kittens, I think Sheba would probably be okay with a kitten rather than an older cat, keep us posted!

Thanks Marilyn, Wendy and Suki for visiting.
Wish I had thought of the kids testing at the beginning of the holidays....but we always have after school.
Even though I was tempted with the kitten Suki, I would not get one at the moment. Too much on my plate.
Silver tabbies are my favourite too! Oh well!
