Yesterday was a bit frustrating as I did not get to pack/sort/clean a single thing. One of our processes at work didn't work as advertised and I spent a lot of time trying to figure that out...and I'm sure you all know that when you touch one thing, something else breaks...oh what a fun filled day...
And Luci decided to put on her high diving suit so I was jumping up and down to the timely tunes of the timer to catch a test on her...and feed...and test...and feed...what a day!
Mom was calling in the afternoon as now she can't figure out how to work the new glucose meter - saying it says 'E4' - I tried to walk her through another test over the phone... meter still says E-4 so she's getting an error message for unknown reasons, so if Luci behaves and work is quiet I'm going to go over there and try to figure out the meter issue with her. The reason she has a meter is because she's been insisting for quite some time that her confusion/memory issues are due to her 'low blood sugar' - some doctor agreed with her once upon a time that she has 'low blood sugar' and so far every test has come back - IMO - a bit on the higher side. I asked her to test before meals because that's when she feels her BG is the lowest and she feels like she needs to eat and even then the readings are over 100 - I think yesterday at lunchtime it was 142...hardly low...she's going to have an A1C next time she goes in for a monthly blood draw - perhaps they'll have some recommendations for her.
And with that thought - Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you and your kitties have a pleasant day!

It can just be better today, can't be as bad!
