But seriously, she has surfed in the 40's before for hours and I hardly even pay attention anymore. After 5+ years, she's so predictable it makes it very easy on me.

It's not for everybody, and definitely not for newbies, but it really comes down to the old saying "Know Thy Cat". That's the only reason I can see a 48 and not test again for several hours. I know she ate and I know she won't drop any further.....and IF she did, she'd be out bugging me for more food.
