I didn't get onto the computer to post a condo yesterday, between a migraine, canning, crazy cats, and stuff on the new house, this weekend was crazy.

Deandra is holding about the same. A higher flatter night last night seemed to bring in a lower morning. Hopefully that trend continues.

She is being a pill about going back into her room now. Won't eat her food and tears her hair out while she is in there. Upstairs no hair pulling and total food thief. It sure was a lot nicer having a midget for a foster who couldn't get on the counters. While we are gone she has to be in there so the other cats can eat so she's just going to have to pitch her fits for now.

Happy OTJ day to everyone celebrating!

Aww the poor thing. Sounds like a bit of separation anxiety like you were thinking originally. One of the things we do for our girl is to hide treats around the house (or your case, room). We've taught her to "hunt" for them and she's gotten really good at it. We hide a few freeze dried treats around and now whenever you say "where's the yummies??" in an excited whisper, she gets in hunting mode and breaths real heavy. It's hysterical :) Calmed her down when we leave though. Perhaps doing something like that will get her mind off of being alone in the room?

I will have to try that today. She does love her freeze dried treats and climbing over everything. Probably take her 30 seconds. She is wound TIGHT! when she is bored
