Hope you start seeing fewer and fewer pinks as you get closer to finding that right dose. I know exactly how you feel, Jack was stuck in the 300's for quite a while initially and it took a lot of pairs of patience pants to slowly work up the ladder. Looks like you are doing pretty good job staying on top of it.

worried just tested and he is at 133 --- which i know is a good number.... but his pm shot is in 2.5 hours -- do i still shot???

gave him some LC food 4pm which is 2.5 hours before PMPS - wont feed anymore after 4:30 unless we see low enough numbers.... i know these numbers are good and what we want but since we started so high this morning i am worried -- will continues to test on the +10 and +11 and post results

Still outside 150.... an hour till PMPS .... help? thoughts? i have never shot this low but i have to keep reminding myself its normal...

I have 50+ strips, HC food and yes i can stay up and i don't have to go anywhere tomorrow even.... i dont know what number i am comfortable shooting at.. i am so used to seeing double digits

I know 198 was your lowest ever, and you have good data about what happened after you shot the full dose on that. Usually when you shoot a lower number, the entire cycle is a lot flatter. The reason I asked what you felt comfortable shooting, is that you can think about working your way down to shooting lower numbers. If you shot 198, would 170 be OK? Anyway, let's see what you get for PMPS.

everything i read says 150 should be ok to shoot -- i am really trying to remind myself that even though this feels low to me we are just starting to work towards normal and we will have to get lower to get him better right... working myself to shot at 150 if you can't tell lol

The first few times I shot blue (and green), Neko bounced right away. But of course, you can't count on that. :cat:

I love it when the crystal ball works for me.

Good shooting and good luck. The first time you shoot your lowest to date, it's a good idea to get a +1 and a +2. He is on his way up so I wouldn't expect any tricks right away.

Amber - I so understand - just tonight, Murphy's pmps was 65 - I never shot that low so I gave him a BCS (big chicken shot) It does take a while to get used to it, but then once you see a blue or green number, you want more of them. It all comes down to having data to have an idea of what your cat will do with a dose

Congrats on earning the next merit badge. We all remember being in your shoes. It takes time and like Wendy mentioned, slowly expanding your comfort zone. Pretty soon shooting a 170 will be second nature.

Tonight sounds like a great time for shooting a little lower. You've got supplies, you can stay up late if needed, and some good members who are around in case you need help.
