Looks like Neko and Leda have a similar strategy when they know there are ferries to catch! Glad she's eating, enjoy the ceremonies with your folks, I'm sure Neko will enjoy having your DH encourage her to eat :cat:

yes doesn't it figure that it would happen when you have to be away! Happy to hear that DH is there though to help Neko hold down the fort!

Our kitties do know when we need to leave. I'm glad your DH can keep an eye on her. I hope Neko eats more. I'm glad you get to be with your parents today.

You may remember that our Tagline for rememberance day is 'lest we forget' Neko sure decided to make sure that you wouldn't forget her today :D

I hope you have a wonderful day with your parents.

Who switched my cat?:p:D I just got home for that +9. No sign of DH, he didn't text me the earlier number, just a note in the log. So glad she played safe surfer today. Been ages since she's done a cycle like this.

As soon as I got off the ferry, there was a banner across the road - Lest We Forget. The other side as I went home -We Will Remember Them. The flyby of the Harvard Trainer airplanes went right over my car. Love the sound of those radial engines. I had a good visit. My parents got to meet my nephews girlfriend. And amazingly, it was dry all day.

So glad that you were able to spend this significant day with your family.

Edward and I used to walk in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden on Armistice Day on a path that went under rows of solemn red maples that were planted in 1919, a year after the Armistice. They were known as the "Armistice Maples." Sadly, many of the trees died by the 1990s and were replaced by red oaks. It was a very moving experience being in the presence of those "remembrance" trees. Their markers are still there.

Neko, lookin' good!
