Yesterday, we are still loving all the visits and vines from you all.

A mid blue AMPS and RR (respiratory rate) of 21. A girl cat could go places with that start. Actually, good thing I'm not testing the RR right now. She's asleep, little hind foot, ears and whiskers are twitching and she's breathing a little faster. Go Neko, be that young kitty in your dreams.

Hi Wendy, does Wellness Core Turkey and Duck have too much phos.? Rusty likes it and it is high in calories and low in carbs.

It's not bad for phosphorus, just a bit higher than ideal, but I'm using binder so it's not as important. I do have a can of the Wellness Core Chicken, Turkey, Chicken Liver which she liked a bit of at one point. I started searching again for the Core Turkey and Duck last week and haven't found it yet. Both of them are decent sodium too. I think there texture is a little grainier than she likes, though the Magic Bullet can solve that issue.

The recent cans of Turkey & Duck are not grainy and have a lot of moisture. I just mash it up as I spoon it into the glass storage container and then transfer some to Rusty's dish (Rusty doesn't eat a whole can at once).
